Claiborne Fogleman

Born in Charlottesville and raised among the rolling hills of Free Union in Albemarle County, Claiborne’s roots in the area go back to the 18th century. In 2002 she joined the “family business.” Her mother, Jane Porter Fogleman has been selling property, specializing in Farms and Estates in central Virginia for more than 30 years. Her father, Jim, has maintained his Real Estate license since 2000, and has been involved in property management and homeowners association management for over 20 years. Claiborne and her mother Jane formed “The Fogleman Group” in 2005 and were recently honored as Roy Wheeler’s top producing team of 2007.

As a native of the area she brings a unique perspective to the ever-changing markets in Charlottesville and Albemarle. She has seen it blossom from a rural and academic community to a much larger and thriving “top small town in the US”. Claiborne is an avid equestrian, a passion she continues today. Seeing the countryside by horseback has given her a unique and broad view of central Virginia. The Real Estate profession allows her to share this broad view and knowledge with her clients.

Claiborne and her husband are currently renovating their home in the Free Union/ Earlysville area where they live with their three dogs. She rides as often as she can, and helps Jane maintain her two horses. Gardening is a favorite hobby and she maintains her own vegetable garden as well as constantly enlarging and improving her flower gardens.

She feels that the most important qualities she provides to her clients are honesty, integrity and an abiding knowledge of Real Estate in the Piedmont of Virginia.
